As a result, companies have incorporated practices echoing social responsibility in their corporate culture and have come up with measures to keep these practices in check. Corporate social responsibility has to do with companies and the effect of their operations on the community and the environment. A companyââ¬â¢s reputation is influenced by the negative or positive effect it has on society. Consumers, the companyââ¬â¢s source of income, tend to patronize corporations that promote or support the well-being of people and do its share in taking care of the environment.
